Under the specifications of Blue Cross Blue Shield, I was tasked with the development of a statewide campaign to educate and encourage patients to engage in their healthcare. A small team and I developed a brand aesthetic including the design and copy to enhance the patient/provider experience.

As the CX designer, I had the opportunity to create with purpose, intention, and empathy while translating the complexities of health insurance into clear and simple design. The position provided ample opportunities to work in a wide array of disciplines such as infographics, fillable forms, web development, marketing and sales presentations. The work was both creatively challenging and satisfying.

I was responsible for the implementation of 2015-2016 brand standards through package design, conceptualizing and design of international ad campaigns in print and web media. Other job functions included determining press needs by coordinating with domestic and international manufacturers to complete projects efficiently. Did I mention part of job required me to shoot a crossbow? It was a pretty awesome job perk.

I had the good fortune to design and illustrate licensed apparel for properties such as The Hobbit, Soul Train, DC Comics, Warner Brothers and more. Additional responsibilities included the design of catalogs, flyers, and managing weekly web content. Hands-down, my favorite property to work on was Soul Train.
